Paradise City Festival is among the greenest festivals in the world

Paradise City Festival has been voted Belgium's greenest music festival for the second time in a row. The festival received no less than four stars from 'A Greener Festival', a non-profit organisation that encourages music events to significantly reduce their ecological footprint.  This rating is the highest possible, which makes Paradise City Festival one of the greenest festivals in the world. The most important feat to realise this in 2021 was to reduce their CO2 emissions. Per visitor, for example, there was a 16% reduction in emissions compared to the previous edition.

Their policy on food also contributes to this sustainable strategy. They believe very strongly in 'future food': delicious meals or snacks that consist of 100% locally and organically grown elements from a fair trade source. Every food truck at the festival must therefore apply before they are allowed on the meadow. They are only allowed to serve food if they fit within the sustainable vision of Paradise City Festival.

With our Tom & Della's food truck full of delicious premium food, we could not be absent at this unique festival with a (green) heart for the environment. It is a great honour for us that we could be part of this sustainable music event in the summer of 2021.
