Our top chef David Martin on food & innovation: "I like to launch new trends...".

Less than a year ago, Tom & Della's was created on the initiative of Gourmet Invent, a company that organises culinary events.

As an extra inspiration and for an injection of quality, two-star chef David Martin was also recruited.

David is responsible for supporting our chefs and developing new products, where quality and excellence are paramount.

The chef enjoys an excellent reputation. His most important achievement is the transformation of top brasserie 'La Paix' in Anderlecht into a two-star restaurant. His well-known style is attention to detail and technique and surprising, spicy flavour combinations. In 2019, he was named Chef of the Year for this.

David Martin: "I am known for thinking counter-stream and trying new things against the prevailing trends. In fact, that's the only way to stay ahead of the curve and on the cutting edge. Working with Gourmet Invent forces me to think differently again about the things I create, the cooking techniques I use, the products, etc. I'm delighted to be working with them. I am therefore looking forward to making new creations together with them and bringing them to the public."
